* Journal of Bio-and Tribo-Corrosion, the first journal in the subject, has published over 50 papers in 2017.

*On January 2016, the1st African conference on Tribo-Corrosion Techniques was held in South Africa. Tribo-Corrosion V, the 5th International conference on Tribo-Corrosion is scheduled for Hyderabad in December 2016. The 4th International Conference on Tribo-Corrosion Tribo-Corrosion 2014, was held in Glasgow.
