Aims and Scope
This international network for women involved in Tribological research was launched at a breakfast meeting at the 14th International conference on Wear of Materials, held in Washington DC in Spring 2003. In the past 10 years, there has been an increasing number of women participating in International Conferences in Tribology area and in scholarly work submitted to journals in the field. This network recognizes the increasing importance of their contribution to the subject area. Publicity of the network is being sponsored by the Institute of Physics UK.
