Project title: Computer Modelling of Tribo-Corrosion in Dentistry

There has been a large interest in the application of tribo-corrosive theories to biological scenarios, particularly on the wear modes associated with dental materials. The current literature has predominantly been concerned with the observation of this behaviour through experimental testing. This study is aiming to investigate the computer simulated prediction of wear within a dental scenario. This is primarily being carried out by examining each mass loss process individually and detailing the feasibility of using various types of software to replicate the behaviours that have been witnessed experimentally.
